Been There, Done That!

Well, I know this guy is pretty proud to have conquered the Super Mario Bros on Nintendo, but to take a picture?! Maybe I am just jealous I didn't do it too, oh never mind I just hooked up my Nintendo(Yup, still own it!) and did it also!! Now I am just a loser like this guy! Is that Robert Downey, Jr.?

Jon Welding without Shakman

Shak is out of town working in the Urban area of Ontonagon and Jon and I went over to work on the car, or at least I was there. He got a job completed and then we, along with Wyman, watched the Red Wings come from behind, take the lead, and then lose the game. Good times!

Darren McCarty is Back in Hockeytown!

Darren McCarty, 36 on April 1, agreed Monday to a one-year deal believed to be worth $475,000 plus incentives. He is being kept in Grand Rapids, where he has been playing, on a two-week conditioning stint. It is the toughness that they need back in the lineup! Hopefully, anyway. Remember this fight on the sidebar?

You think your house is small!?

Here is a house for sale in Toronto that considered the smallest house in the world. It is for sale, good luck trying to compare your house to this one! This house, located near the intersection of Dufferin Street and Rogers Road is believed to be Toronto's smallest house. Occupying what used to be a driveway, it's a one bedroom, one bathroom home that sits on a parcel of land 7.25 feet (2.2 metres) wide and 113.67 feet (34.6 metres)long and has an interior of just under 300 square feet (28 square metres).

Tiger's Visit While Home on Leave

Tiger, in camo if you couldn't tell, stopped by to thank the class for all the Christmas cards and items sent to him. He was home on leave from Iraq for a couple of weeks, but has now returned until around July 6th. Thanks for coming in Tiger and we can't wait for you and Joe to be back for good!

Wrestling Stinks!

I have relatives and friends that were or are wrestlers but it never interested me, except for the good ole WWE, and this picture is an example of why. I wouldn't want to be on either end of this situation, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Trip to the Wells Sports Complex for Chic's Hockey

Olivia and I went to the Wells Sports Complex to watch some girls hockey. Taylor and Holly, former and current students and sisters, were playing against a team from Gladwin. They lost 3-1 in a rivoting game. Tiger is also pictured. He is on leave for a couple of weeks from Iraq and jumped right back into his regular roll in the scorers box. It was fun and Olivia had fun watching and then playing at the rink.

Look at the "Birdie"!

Can you guess which kid has grown up in a house full of sign language? As most of you know, the Bird is one of my favorite ways to say "hello," "up yours," or "give me a smile." I do teach a second grade class, but this is not something I teach the kids at school. But my own kids, well...

Payton's First Hair Cut

Here is Payton with her first haircut and of course Olivia had to get in and have her part in a picture. Liv is a ham and of course can't let her little sis outdo her! Thanks to Kimberly to come over and give Payton a haircut.

Sumting to Sink About!?

Enough said, I am sure this fortune is very true!

A Legend Lives Outside His Own Mind

Well, I guess you know you made it when you show up in a bathroom stall. The only thing missing is his phone number. "I love Ron Jenshak", Ron is the driver of the A40 at Norway Speedway. After all this time, I guess he isn't just a legend in his own mind! But, I do worry how Junior found this message in the girls stall at Cat-Man-Dos. His story says his girlfriend found it, but ...
