Payton and Evan

Payton and cousin Evan had fun and explored looking at a crayfish that Jake acquired for Payton. It came home and lasted a couple of days. These two cousins just love being around each other.

Wallace Zoo and Party Too!

We took the kids to the Wallace Zoo on Saturday and the kids had fun. They got to see tigers, lions, bear, cougars, lynx, alligators, and monkeys to name a few. I had more pictures but the website I save them to isn't working. Later that night it was fun time for the grown ups! Carrie's Aunt Marcie had a Jimmy Buffet party with Tripod, Joey Rousseo is pictured, playing in the backyard. John is standing with all his buds listening to the band. Fun was had by all and I have more pics of that too, but they aren't coming through. I bet they are still cleaning up the mess! Thanks Marcie and John!

Olivia Picture

Well, Olivia was up to it again. I didn't know she swiped my phone and was practicing taking pictures of her self again. There were two more pics but all you could make out was the floor. I took her to Cameron Elementary School today and she got to play on all the equipment by herself and her highlight was being able to play on the second grade side, which she isn't allowed to use during the school year.

Ice Cream Man!

We over at Joe and Sharon's for the rummage sale and dinner tonight. When there are a bunch of kids around it seems that ice cream truck knows where to go. Olivia, Payton, Evan, Uncle No No, and Papa Mike had some popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, and cones. The Old man even bought for a youngster that came over but had no money, what a guy!

SMF Racing is (finally) almost Ready to Rumble

Mark's car is now painted, on the right, and ready to have the decals put on the race car. The plan is to race next week! It is going to be interesting to see the bro's on the track together and I am it will be fun. Meanwhile, yesterday was a great day of racing for the Rocket and A40 crew. Rocket qualified fastest, finished 3rd in the Dash for Cash, and 2nd in the feature! The points lead was regained by our team and the car was looking really fast last night. My dad came along for the first time after asking him to go for 2 years. I am pretty sure he had fun and by the number of soda's he and Nockers drank will probably back that up.

Tigers are Smokin'!

The other night after golf we sat and watch the Tigers come back and win another game. Kurt was chillin' with a cancer stick hanging from his lips. Doesn't happen often, so I had to get a pic!

Mark's car is almost ready to race! Engine is in, ready to be painted, and some weight needs to be added to the car. Mark has been busy working and that darn job gets in the way of completing his hobby.

Happy Fourth!

We spent our day, as usual, over at my parent's house all day on the Fourth. My dad had the swimming pool set up, spots on the curb to watch Jon and the other Firefighters walk the parade, have a fire in their new fire pit, and put on our own fireworks display. The day was warm and fun. Thanks for all that stopped by and hope to see you soon and next year too. We also had some laughs with Uncle Joe, he got into the Doctor and was making us all laugh, for the most part, right Aunt Sharon? If you didn't get by this year, stop in next year!

Racing at Norway

I made my second appearance at the track this weekend and all went well. Ron "Rocket" Jenshak took the fast time qualifier for the Super Stocks. We finished 4th in the dash and after sitting behind slow cars for most of the race ended up 7th in the feature. Some ground was lost on the points championship, but alot of races to go to gain them back!
