Christmas '09

Liv and Payton got to watch the Christmas Parade from the back of my truck. It worked out well and the people would come right to the truck and hand them the candy.

Liv took some time to relax and watch some TV on Saturday morning.

Papa Steve took some time to help Olivia with her new 'laptop.' She was excited to get the computer and is already trying to figure out how to download from the internet.

This was a gift for the girls and me alike! Good ole race track brought back memories of my Christmas!

Payton dressed up in her "My Wedding Day" Christmas gift. It has rose petals, bouquet, with dress and head gear. It is very cute, but I didn't like seeing my 3 year old in a wedding dress, that will come way too soon!

Players don't want to play in Green Bay!!

Well, finally I am not the only one that hates Green Bay. Looks like a good majority of the NFL players dislike it too. As much as I hear about how great the Packers are from their fans, I guess players would still rather play in Detroit and Cleveland. That makes me laugh because the Lions and Browns are the lowest winning percentage teams in the past decade!

Christmas Decorations!

Once again I got disqualified from my nieghborhood Christmas decorating contest. They say I have a bad attitude!?! I don't get it.

Halloween Carvin' and Trickin'

Olivia starte off and wanted to carve her own pumpkin all by herself. I let her at it and she did pretty well!

Payton got into the act after her bath and was really excited.

Liv is showing how proud she was of the carving she created. She even gave her pumpkin eyelashes!
Move room next the The Mona Lisa!

Scary picture of the pumpkins glowing out on the steps. OOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOO!

The only picture I could get of the two in their costumes. Liv was a vampire witch and Paypay is Dorthy from The Wizard of Oz.

What a hitch!

Here is a picture of an actual hitch I say at the OSF parking lot yesterday. I couldn't pass if up and started laughing right when I saw it. Some people are just so creative......I guess?

Lions/Steelers Game

We walked up the entrance of Ford Field and it really is an awesome arena. Hopefully they can put a team together that plays like this wonderful place looks! The Steelers won 28-20, but I still had fun.
This was the view from our seats. I thought they were pretty good seats and the the middle section was a good spot to sit.
Dave, Kurt, Dan, and Mike looked really enthused as the watched the game. I move myself over to the club section. The biggest difference between the club and non-club seats were the padding on the club seats.

At the GreekTown Casino we had quite a laugh as Mark, Dave, and myself chuckled as a blind woman was leading a blind man around the floor. You know the old saying ...blind leading the blind, we actually witnessed it! And they seemed to get around just fine!

Another Season of Golf Gone

The Bluff had its Sixth Annual Closing Party yesterday and we golfed good, but not good enough. Bottom of the Championship flight. Cory wanted to say see you next year, but it looks like he will be taking a job promotion and moving to Chicago within the next few weeks. See you later Cory and stay in touch!

Finally!!

The Lions finally won after 19 losses in a row. It was a better played game than most they have and a win is a win. Stafford looked good and the D held.

Last Weekend at the Cottage

We went to the cottage and finally got to run both of our four wheelers. It was fun and we made some new trails.
Uncle Joe was showing off his butterfly hunting talents!
Look at the form! He was absolutely sneaky quick!

Then, Uncle Joe showed off his skills to the kids, Grady and Payton. They were very impressed! Great hunting Joe!!

After the butterfly hunt, Uncle Joe and I went out and he blazed a new trail around the outskirts of the 40 acres with his skidsteer. Can't you just feel the testosterone?!

Hangin Out

Picture of Payton I thought was cute that just had to be put on the blog.

Olivia and Madeya were crusing around Lake Mahskeekee this past weekend.

Makenly was a little dirty from our four wheeler ride, but it didn't seem to bother him much!

Maxwell, Madeya, and Oliva spend some time fishing off the dock and this picture was too good to pass up!

Just Plain Golf Etiquette

Four Wheeler Times Two!

We bought another four wheeler today. After a little proding from Mark, I went out and finally bought this ride. It is a Polaris 800 with two seats. It has heated handles and goes fast. Now I have my own and dad can have the 335!

I'll homer for you Noah!

Brandon Inge of the Tigers homered in the first inning of last nights game. A sick boy named Noah asked him to do so and he followed through with a dinger in the Tigers' win last night. Just another reason why Inge is loved in Detroit and gaining a ton of repect around the league.

Day at the Notso Fair

Payton had fun on the bikes and didn't want to leave the "un"Fair when it was time to go.

We met up with Mike and Bree and their kids. Olivia and Bailey had fun on the big slide.

Payton had a blast on the boats and wants to go back. Went to the "un"fair with a C-Note and came home with one dollar!!! Does that sound like a Fair to you? I hope with the Fair going to the county, things and prices will change.

Told You!

Looking at my July 28th blog, I knew he would be back. It is getting old and I hope he doesnt' get hurt in his leaving of retirement.....

Visit to Fayette

The old factory has been renovated since I was last at Fayette. It was a nice day and the breeze helped keep the heat down.

Olivia had to pose and take a picture on this tree. Carrie said she was photographed on this tree when she was little too!

Payton took some time in the school room and played with the bell. This room was about 8 feet by 10 feet. A little bit smaller than the classrooms I have had in Gladstone!

Payton and Olivia pose for a picture on the steps of the old hotel.
A shot I just had to take.

Magic Black Puma's at Up Front

We went to Marquette last night to watch Tony Crispigna's band play at the Up Front and Co.. The Magic Black Puma's had a pretty good show and I am awaiting CD's to be made for their fans.

Tony is belting out one of their tunes.

Tony and John playing their opening song to get warmed up for the night.

The VIP section held my mom and dad, Joe and Anne, Andy, some dude, and Carrie. Mark and I sat over by the bar, I know it's hard to believe, but that is where we watched and enjoyed the show.
