Birthdays and Bay Beach!

The Pascoe and Saari families head down to Bay Beach for a day of fun on the rides and a trip for my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday to both my parents this past weekend. Dad's was on June 28, Sunday, and Mom was on June 29th, Monday.

Everyone went for the little train ride at the Bay Beach Depot. It is a few minutes long and gives you a little sight seeing of the area.

The kids, Mackenly, Grady, Payton, and Madeya went for a cruuse on the high seas!
Olivia, Maxwell, and myself went on the wheel of death! The 7 and 5 year old didn't seem to mind the ride, but I thought for sure it would come off it's hinges and we would die as it rolled into the Green Bay! It didn't and we survived.

Olivia, on the left, and Madeya, center, took a swing around and around. Doesn't Olivia look just plain elated!!??

AHHHH! Back at the motor home, we took two, we had Nanny Linda's birthday cake and some down time before heading back to the cottage. See my arm in the mirror!

Golf Weekend at Boyne Highlands

The Bear River Classic at the Boyne Highlands.
I had the annual golf trip down to Petoskey. Davey Elliott held the 7th annual Bear River Classic and for the first time I had takers to come along from the UP! Kurt, Brad, and I went down on Thursday.
Dave was showing the pairings of golf partners and what formats we would be using for the two days. We golfed 36 holes on Friday and Saturday and the weather was awesome! We had rain on Saturday for about 4 holes, but beyond that it was great!
This was an unbelievabley scenic site, so I had to take a shot from the tee box. We missed the eagle putt and finished with a birdie. We shot 10 under and lost on the putt off after the first playoff hole. It was another great weekend and a whole lot of laughs happened. The Connelley Brothers were hilarious as usual and a couple of soda pops were drank. Lots of stories, but they stay with the Classic and will be revisted by those that attend next year.

Basketball and Golf Camps for Olivia

Olivia had a busy week last week.
She spent 8:00 to 9:30 at basketall camp on Monday thru Thursday. She had fun and enjoyed the T-Shirt she received for attending the camp. She is getting pretty good at dribbling.
After basketball, she had golf camp from 10:00 to 1:15 at the Terrace Bluff. She really had fun with this and is grabbing the golf game with interest. It won't take much, but hopefully she will surpass her old man's game of golf!

The crew she was involved with had 39 7 to 9 year olds! They guys at the course ran a great program and kept most of the kids in line and actually paying attention.

Trip to Green Bay

I took a trip to Green Bay to have some warranty work done on my truck and Olivia wanted to come along, I wonder why?
Liv was busy cashing in her tickets for some prizes. A great way to lose, I mean spend, $20!
She had some trouble finding things to take, but eventually did a good job and even got a few items for her sister.

We found a school in Ashwaubenon for Olivia to play. She had fun and loved to run after sitting in the truck and dealership.

Payton is Three Today!!!!

Payton took a ride on her new big girl bike. She cruised around the block and seems to be getting the hang of it. Soon we will be taking off the training wheels when she gets used to the them and let her loose!

Olivia also got a new bike the other day. It is a 20 inch and fits her better than her smaller bike.

Payton posed for a quick smile then she off again chasing and peddling around the yard with her cousins.

Olivia, Grady, Madeya, Maxwell, Payton, and Evan had fun throwing and chasing the frisbee around the front yard. Amazingly enough, I don't recall any crying or fighting. Kinda eerie how well they all play together.

Olivia, Payton, and Natalie took a picture before Paypay blew out her candles. She did a good jon and even sang "Happy Birthday" to herself! They are growing up way to fast.

Night at the Joe!

We arrived at the Joe at about 4:30 and took time to greet the players coming in to get ready for the game. Jeff, Nick, and Jason pose for a pic when we hit the walkway into JLA.
These were the fireworks before the game and then the fireworks continued into the game itself. The Wings kicked the crap out of the Penguins and it was awesome. Stood almost the entire 2nd period as the Hometown Hockey Heroes posted a 5-0 lead!
Jeff made a friend on the way in and made a few more during the game around, but remember to take your hat off during the National Anthem.
The Legends of Hockeytown are immortalized in the Rafters of the Joe. Greatness everywhere you look!

The final score was unbelievable and let's root for the Wings to close it out on Tuesday! Osgood and the rest of the Wings ruled the game most of the entire time.

Start of Summer?

The girls and I played outside and I took them for a little four wheeler ride. Liv and Payton are playing on the slide and Liv is showing here shy side.

Olivia was wanting to make a gross face and have me take a picture of it. She laughed and said she wanted a picture to hold on to.

Payton wanted to get into the action too. She was trying to make a gross face too, but it mostly turned out as her laughing.
