Just Plain Golf Etiquette

Four Wheeler Times Two!

We bought another four wheeler today. After a little proding from Mark, I went out and finally bought this ride. It is a Polaris 800 with two seats. It has heated handles and goes fast. Now I have my own and dad can have the 335!

I'll homer for you Noah!

Brandon Inge of the Tigers homered in the first inning of last nights game. A sick boy named Noah asked him to do so and he followed through with a dinger in the Tigers' win last night. Just another reason why Inge is loved in Detroit and gaining a ton of repect around the league.

Day at the Notso Fair

Payton had fun on the bikes and didn't want to leave the "un"Fair when it was time to go.

We met up with Mike and Bree and their kids. Olivia and Bailey had fun on the big slide.

Payton had a blast on the boats and wants to go back. Went to the "un"fair with a C-Note and came home with one dollar!!! Does that sound like a Fair to you? I hope with the Fair going to the county, things and prices will change.

Told You!

Looking at my July 28th blog, I knew he would be back. It is getting old and I hope he doesnt' get hurt in his leaving of retirement.....

Visit to Fayette

The old factory has been renovated since I was last at Fayette. It was a nice day and the breeze helped keep the heat down.

Olivia had to pose and take a picture on this tree. Carrie said she was photographed on this tree when she was little too!

Payton took some time in the school room and played with the bell. This room was about 8 feet by 10 feet. A little bit smaller than the classrooms I have had in Gladstone!

Payton and Olivia pose for a picture on the steps of the old hotel.
A shot I just had to take.

Magic Black Puma's at Up Front

We went to Marquette last night to watch Tony Crispigna's band play at the Up Front and Co.. The Magic Black Puma's had a pretty good show and I am awaiting CD's to be made for their fans.

Tony is belting out one of their tunes.

Tony and John playing their opening song to get warmed up for the night.

The VIP section held my mom and dad, Joe and Anne, Andy, some dude, and Carrie. Mark and I sat over by the bar, I know it's hard to believe, but that is where we watched and enjoyed the show.

Sand Bay for the Day

Last weekend we went out to Jim and Tina's cottage on SandBay. It was warm day we celebrated Grandpa Dick's Birthday.
The kids had a blast playing in the yard and out on the water trampoline and bubble. One person sits on the end of the big bubble and another jumps on and the first goes flying, pretty fun to watch.
Steve sat out on the end of the dock and watched, or slept, while the kids played on the water toy.
Jim is working on a cabana type building that will serve as a party and bar area. He only started on it last week and it is a nice place to assemble for conversation.

After all the conversation under the cabana, it lead to the boys attempting to hit Steve out on the dock with a water balloon launcher. Mission was not accomplished, but a few close shots woke him up and he left his perch.

Day at the Beach

Liv wanted to head to the beach and do some swimming. We went down there for a couple of hours. It was actually warm and she had a blast sliding down the two slides over and over. Man, I remember and miss those days spent at the beach with friends.
