X Games 15!

Travis Pastrana will compete again in the best trick motocross. He reportedley has a trick that is just plain "sick.' Scott Murray of Helps will be competing for the third year. The show starts at 7:00pm Friday, so tune in and root for the UP's own Scott Murray!!

He is finally gone! Or is he??

My guess is he will be back in Minnesota soon.

Afternoon Delight at the Cottage

Olivia had Madeya on as a guest rider and teaching her how to drive her four wheeler, Maxwell was hamming it up for the pictures! It was a very enjoyable day and the weather was great!

Uncle Joe found a bench seat out of a GM vehicle and strapped it into the back of the Ranger. I took an in motion shot on a trip and Olivia, Payton, Maxwell, and Madeya acted out for the picture! We had four kids in the back and the two littlest ones, Grady and Mackenly, in the front with Jeff.

Evan's 3rd Birthday!

Jason and Rachel had Evan's birthday party yesterday. Evan, Grady, and Payton made their way to the pool. Eventually, they all ended up in it in their clothes.

The trend setters of Payton, Evan, and Grady started the movement to the backyard and playing on the swing set and pool. It was a fun time and all went well.

Evan, in the middle, got some help opening his gifts from his mom, Rachel, and Payton, Maxwell, and Olivia. Happy 3rd Evan!!

Day at the Pascoe's cottage on Mahskeekee

I took the girls and we headed up to Mahskeekee Lake, a privately owned lake that is near Camp 7. We brought the sun with us and the day's weather ended up pretty good.

My dad and the others were watching the kids from above.

These five had fun digging in the sand and picking snails and clams. Jumping off the dock and swimming kept them busy for most of the day.

Payton was getting use to the dock and later warmed up and was jumping down and climbing up without much trouble. She didn't want her bathing suit on, but did spend time in ankle deep water.

Olivia and Madeya are at the end of the dock and are ready to jump in! In the background, Leelee and Ivey took Grady for a spin on the paddle boat.

We had a gaggle of four wheelers there and we went for few rides down the number of trails around the area. Payton was ready to twirl around on the four wheelers the kids were riding around the cottage.

Payton's Day with Dad

Payton and I took off for a couple of hours this afternoon. She wanted to go have lunch and "lego bell" which I understood as Taco Bell. She loves the tacos and the nachos. I took a picture of her at Taco Bell, but you can't quite see the cheese all over her nose, cheeks, chin, and lips. It was all over! Then we stopped at Kids Kingdom and she had fun as usual. She ran into Bailey there with her daycare group. They ran and played for about a half an hour. Then she swung in the swing for about 15 glorious minutes.

Maxwell's Birthday!!!

Jeff and Jill had Maxwell's birthday today, he turned 6! The water slide was a hit as always. The temperture stayed mainly around 75 and sunny so the water was a treat.

Jeff and Jill did a great job for the party and only a few kids cried. Jeff shows his thumbs up for the day and the party.

Payton really loved the slide too! We couldn't get her off of it and she only left it when she heard the singing to Maxwell for his birthday, then back to the slide.

Papa Joe had his hands full pushing 3 kids on the swings and keeping an eye on Evan on the slide. We would've went down to help, but he seemd to be doing fine.

Jerk from da South!!

Well, I have said for many years that Brett Favre was an egotistical Jackass that caught a break by being in Green Bay and their fans and organization thought he was a great person. I think now it is showing how he really is a dick and won't go away! Packers fans can finally realize what I have been preaching for years, Favre is a jerk and he now wants to do what he can to beat the Pack.

Kids Kingdom

I took the kids down to the Kingdom and they always love playing and running around this joint.

Payton is showing how old she is getting by climbing up the covered chains to the top of the platform. It took her some time, but mission accomplished.

Olivia wanted to see what she looked like while hanging upside down off of the monkey bars. She laugh, so I guess is was funny>

Olivia was caught in action flinging acrosss the triangle hangy thingies. She actually got stuck up on top of these and wanted help down, but I made her figure out how to get down. She did.

Payton enjoyed swinging in the "baby" swing and was singing and yelling almost the entire time. She seemed to have fun and asked "when do we get to go back?" Anther succesful trip because no injuries and no crying!

Another Fourth at the Parents

We celebrated another Fourth of July at my parents house. We posted up in our usual spot at the end of the alley and enjoyed the warm weather and parade.

The kids got to enjoy the pool and cool off during the day. Olivia, Maxwell, Madeya, and Patyon hit the splashy tub.

Payton and the other kids got to ride a pony. I think Paypay would've stayed on the pony all day if she able to! The kids love it, of course, and he did his part to fertilize Schwartz's yard!

We sat in the backyard and had a pretty good shot of most of the fireworks. The girls kept yelling "higher" because some of the fireworks didn't get over the trees.

This was one of Uncle Joe's favorites. He loved it because it reminded him of a "golden shower!" MMMMM?

2 in a row!!!

Mark has won two features in a row at Norway! Congrats to Mark and the crew that he has behind him accomplish such a feat!! Awesom!!
