Last Day of Basketball for Liv
Olivia is showing off her dribbling skills. She is doing quite well and they have the kids using both hands to dribble.
Another skill that is being taught to prep for dribbling between their legs.
Madeya's Birthday Party
I took Payton over to Jeff and Jill's house for Madeya's party. It was cancelled from last week because she had the flu. As you can see, there were a few kids running around at the party. Olivia wasn't present though, she was with Carrie at Aiden's birthday party.
Deya is enjoying opening with and playing with her presents.
Payton was having fun playing with the piano. Maybe we should get our piano tuned up and ready for the kids to use?!

Hockey Night in Marquette
Last night Mark and I went to a NMU hockey game against Alaska Anchorage. It was a pretty boring game, until the shootout. Good thing Mark got the tickets for free.
As you can see, the stands were not filled.
If you can't tell who this is by the back of his head, it is Scott Stade. I haven't seen him in forever and he ended up sitting in front of us at the game.
Here is the shootout. This action shot was the first shooter of the shoot out and he scored. AA never scored a goal in the shoot out.

The Only Thing Kickin' For the Lions!
The jersey, pants, shoes and socks worn by Detroit Lions kicker Jason Hanson and the football he kicked to set the NFL career record for 50-yard field goals was donated to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The memorabilia arrived at the Hall of Fame on Wednesday.Hanson converted a 51-yard field goal in the opening quarter of the Lions Week 15 game against the Indianapolis Colts on December 15, 2008 for his 41st career field goal of 50 yards or longer. With the kick, he surpassed the career total of 50-yarders by Morten Andersen. The field goal also equaled Mortensen’s single-season record of eight field goals of 50 or more yards.Hanson’s memorabilia will be placed on display in the Hall’s Pro Football Today Gallery. That exhibition hall, which opened in May 2008, focuses on the current NFL record moments.

Lunch at Ludington Grill
We went to the Ludington Grill for lunch today and Payton enjoyed some of the eats.
Olivia was more interested in playing the video games. She wanted to get clams, but we talked her out of it. I talked her into letting Nanny and Papa buy it for her some time to waste their money if she didn't like it! She agreed.

Photag in the Making?
Olivia had her camera out and was getting Payton to pose for pictures, but also found time to pose herself.
Liv wanted to take a picture of me taking a picture of her. I remember doing the same thing with my dad, except I was 28! Not 6.

Tubing At The Sports Park
We took the kids tubing for the first time this year. I tagged along with Olivia and Mark brought Katie and Emma. It was a pretty descent day out as far as the temperature. We went to the hill at about noon. Mark, Katie, and Emma left at about 3ish and Olivia and myselft stayed there till 5 o'clock! I was getting cold and tired, but Liv could've stayed all night. She found a friend to tube with, which was great. It allow me to stay by and tend the fire.

Strange Law!? ....Or is it?
This is an actual law and can be found with an internet search. I didn't make it up, but it does sound like something I might say.
"In Memphis, Tennessee, a woman is not to drive a car unless a man warns approaching motorists or pedestrians by walking in front of the car that is being driven."
