The Replacements
Carrie brought the girls to get new fish. We now have two, Molly, dark fish, and Angel. They cost about a dollar each and have 90 day warranty, if either die we can get a new one. It is a better warrantee than a cell phone!

A Morning with Dad
Carrie went shopping with LeeLee, Sharon, and Rachel today. I was alone with the girls and we had a busy morning. We played, they jumped on me, till about 9ish. Then we packed up and went to the Pet Place to get a new home for Sunny the fish. The girls wanted to play at the park, so we headed to Harbour Hideout for a couple of hours. We went to Mc'Ds for some lunch and more playing on slides. It was hard to get Paypay to come home, but we did. Swimming is ahead in the afternoon, either here or at Nanny Kate's.

End of the Fair
Olivia and I went to the fair again today. I had to work at the Labor Union Booth. Then we went to get Liv a fish that she is displaying. After eating and more games, we caught the show by the the Caboodlestoppers. It was a nice show for the kids and it was free, which was nice after the last two days spendings! I also thought it was fair to show Kurt working, which he did alot of this week. That is him in the upper left picture in the blue shirt. He won an award this year, "Carney with the only full set of teeth!" Kurt was quoted as saying, "It is an honor and I hope to take home Cleanest Carney in two weeks and the Dickinson County Fair!" Good luck Kurt!

Liv at the Fair
We took Liv to the fair today and we met up with Wyman, Katie, and Emma. Liv and Emma ran around and went on a bunch of rides. The othe is a picture of Kurt. Kurt is on vacation this week and works the color game for a quater during his vacation. The picture is after the next to last night of working for him!
Teachers in Texas Carry Guns!
A tiny Texas district will allow teachers and staff members to carry concealed firearms to deter and protect against school shootings when classes begin this month, provided the gun-toting employees follow certain requirements.
"When the federal government started making schools gun-free zones, that's when all of these shootings started. Why would you put it out there that a group of people can't defend themselves? That's like saying 'sic 'em' to a dog," Thweatt said in a story published Friday on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Web site.Trustees approved the policy change last year. For employees to carry a pistol, they must have a Texas license to carry a concealed handgun; must be authorized to carry by the district; must receive training in crisis management and hostile situations; and must ammunition designed to minimize the risk of ricocheting bullets.
It isn't clear how many of the 50 or so teachers and staff members will be armed this fall because Thweatt did not disclose that information, to keep it from students or potential attackers

Spainish Fly?
In case you missed it, the Spanish Basketball team took this picture as they were getting ready for the Olympics. The pictures has caused an uproar on almost every news and sports network. My question is, what would have happened to the USA Team if they did such a picture?

Mark's car is done and he race his second week yesterday. Rocket had the fast time and Mark won the First Heat by 0.001 seconds and followed that up with a win in the "B" Feature, which earned him a spot in the "A" feature. Overall it was good night of racing, Ron had fast time at 16.060 seconds a lap, 2nd in the dash, and 5th in the feature. The other picture is of our kids on marks racecar. Olivia and Payton are riding along every lap with Mark.

A Day At The Wading Pool
We took the girls to the Escanaba Wading pool by the Webster Elementary School. They have been there a few time in the last couple of weeks and love it. Payton will get right down and crawl and Liv loves to splash and practice her backfloat. Beaner and his wife were there and thier daughter is shown in a picture above. It is great for young kids, it is the same depth all the way across. A whopping 9 inches deep! A lifeguard is on duty too!

Ozzy's Lake House
Jon and I met up with Dave and played some golf at Mackinaw Club Golf Course for a fund raiser for St. Ignace athletics. We played pretty well and ended up 6th overall. It was good to see alot of people I don't get a chance to see much of anymore. Doug Ingalls, Carly, and KC Leisenring are just a few. We were asked to stay at Ozzy's new lake house on Trout Lake. It is a very nice place and thanks Doug! We will be back next year!
